As there is no mandatory certification or training for maternity, pregnancy, or children portraiture in the United States, I do make as many attempts as possible to keep myself educated and up to date on trends, techniques, as well as safety in this industry.
Listed are online workshops, online course work, conferences I have attended, and my in-person training with leading industry professionals I have completed.

As much as I wish that certification were necessary for newborn photographers, it is not yet a requirement. Please be sure to always inquire about any potential photographers qualifications to be working with your sweet babies!
